Indian Toilet vs. Western Toilet : Discussion

Indian Toilet vs. Western Toilet : Discussion

One day while attending a lecture in college,  Aakash felt that he need to go to the toilet. He rushed there and found that there is a western comod.  He was very uncomfortable. Because, he didn’t want to touch a comod, he tried and started doing. But, every time he pooped, the splash of water was coming up and touching him. That made him even more uncomfortable.

This is a small incident which shows the drawback of western comod.which is affecting the feelings of many Indians. Well, this Is a one sided view of the coin.

Well,  everyone knows that now days,  western toilets are so much popular in India. You can find them in the home of those who categorize themselves as higher than mid-middle class, the standard people, in offices, in colleges blah blah…. . Do they really deserve this immense popularity? We will discuss it in the following points.

Body :

Indian Toilets :

Advantage : Doing your business on indian toilets is a good  exercise for legs, it stretches your muscle and helps in good blood circulation and enables your legs to work for some more years.

Western Toilets :

Advantage : when its indian toilets, Its very difficult for those who are really aged and have knee issues or someone handicapped by legs. Here, Western Comods are very much helpful.

Touch :

Indian Toilets :

Advantage : When you are using, there is no need to touch Indian Toilets. This is like a boon for those , who dnt like to touch public comod.

Western Toilets :

Disadvantage : when you use it, the back side if your body touches it. The situation gets worse, when you use a public one, in office, colleges etc . Because, no one knows what kind of skin disease the previous user of this comod had.  Or, did someone removed the cover before pee?

 Spalsh :

Western Toilets :

Disadvantage :  Frankly speaking, I have used many western comods and I had same problem with all of them. The problem is, when I use it, droplets of water in the comod come up, which is very irritating.

Indian Toilets :

Advantage : Indian Toilets wins the race here.

So, There are some advantages and some disadvantages attached with both of them. There is also a Hibrid version of comod, which has advantages of both the contenders.
